Our house in Ottawa is located in an area with a myriad of excellent trails and bike paths, giving me an excellent opportunity to take my dog Piper and take some photos as both reference and inspiration (Piper appears in many of the shots, being such a prima donna).

Just a couple of shots taken around my neck of the woods in the Capital city of Canada, and you may see some of the basic characteristics of these appear in my paintings.  But you may have to look closely as I rarely refer to photography for  fine art purposes.
