In between using a good, old-fashioned roller and brush to add white paint to the walls and ceiling of my studio I was able to get a 48 x 48″ abstract done. Allowing layers of paint to dry on canvas while heading out to do more of the studio gave me a bit more of a distance from my work than I usually take and was a bit educational for me as it reminds me of the space we do need to “step back” once in a while to re-evaluate our work.
