When I moved to Ottawa with my family 5 years ago, I quickly looked to continue my life drawing, something I’ve always enjoyed and had success with commercially. I found the Sunday class at the Nepean Sportsplex which was run by a very nice lady, Laraine. She had to give up her stewardship a couple years later, and I took over the class after Mark ran it for some time.

Laraine’s visits became sporadic due to her battle with cancer. She battled on, never complained and always seemed to enjoy the classes very much… I found out last week that she has passed away, and wish the best for her family, friends, and the best memories for a very positive, lovely lady.

We’ll all miss you, Laraine.
