Just got back from the Expo in New York, and had a great show… sold 9 paintings and connected with lots of folks in the good ol’ USA. Thanks to everyone who bought my paintings!… I hope they provide you with years of enjoyment and pride.
I learned that my newest paintings were my best sellers, and when I go back I’ll bring larger paintings, which I’m sorry to say I ran out of… just had a few sort of medium to small paintings remaining at the end of the weekend.
My buddy Dave Adshade had a great show with his arresting abstracts, and I think he and his wife Vicki had a blast in the Big Apple. Great catching up with them and their friends from Canada. I enjoyed one of the best steak dinners I’ve ever had after delivering my big barn painting to Park Avenue Saturday night with my neighbour at the show, Allan, a realist painter.
The show was a challenge in terms of organization for sure, especially bringing the art to our booths (I was doing it on my own) but rewarding for me. I love New York!
