Ran out of my usual mainstay colour, titanium white, this week in drawing class so went with some slightly unusual alternatives instead. The results were sort of interesting.

Been thinking of running a still life painting class rather than the usual life studies on Sunday mornings. I’d set up a quick study of fruit, vase, whatever, and we’d complete a painting in the 2.5 hours we have allotted. How fun. I’ve been reflecting that sometimes booking models can be a bit of a hassle, people sometimes bitch when a model isn’t perfect, and I’m sometimes wondering why I bother doing it… maybe it’s time, after this term at the Nepean Sportsplex, to give the nudes a rest LOL
